lamborghini Gallardo - new or used?

Hi there

I am currently looking to purchase a Gallardo and would very much appreciate this Forums help with the following:

I am currently looking at a couple of new (well 500 miles) 2008 models and also at some older models from 2003 and 2004.

I have received very good info from main dealer with regards to servicing intervals and costings for a new 2008 model, no probs there. However, with regards to older models I have heard several stories about pre and post Audi cars and the effect this has in servicing costs, frequency of service and clutches etc. Does any body out there know what the differences are between "pre and post Audi" Gallardo's (apparently this change happened at the start of 2004). How do the servicing costs vary, what is there to look out for?

Any advise would be very much appreciated.

Audi bought lamborghini in 1998 - all Gallardos are Audi cars.....
