Hey everybody! Here is another example of what can happen when too much power is applied - and then lifted. What a shame...

Yea, thats just before turn 12 at Road Atlanta. The crest of that hill is the wrong place to let off the throttle. I can see the look on that persons face when the road dropped away as they passed under the bridge. Priceless!

What many refer to a corkscrew type of turn can catch many unaware. Just a shame and very unfortunate, I'm sure it spolied his day, the whole year for that matter.

I remember the first time I drove at Road Atlanta - it was the first time I had EVER driven a road course... Thankfully, I had a very good instructor along for the first couple laps! I did it this in my MX-5 Miata and to this day (when I get the chance), I downshift to 3rd just before the top of the hill allowing the engine to "break" the car for a moment - then crest the hill and add power up to the top of 4th. In the Miata you can hold the top of 4th all the way through the curve and down towards the tower if you hit the apex correctly... To bad the Lambo driver didn't have an instructor. I would love to do this in my Esprit! but I have not gotten the chance :>(...

Often the skills required to make enough money to afford a lambo aren’t necessarily the same ones to drive it on the track. : )

Well I suppose practice makes perfect, he must try that turn again.

I'm willing to bet that the Esprit driver stuffed his car under the parked one in a high speed maneuver...

Had to be going a pretty good clip to get that far under too, I'd guess.
