Monaco to Dunkirque
Discussion
Off on a driving holiday with the missus in a few weeks and need recomendations for the trip back from Monaco.
We have 3-4 days to do and I would like some nice scenic roads but but dont mind autoroutes as well.
Anyone have any general ideas for rough routes and places to stay each night?

Head up road some of the roads in Italy too ! N85 would be ace tho aswell.
Try Roads round by Basel/Mulhouse [Left Mountain Range] if you need a break from the motorway on the way back.

When you get to Dijon bin the Autoroute and take the N71 North to Troyes then continue onto Sezanne, Chateau Thierry and Soissons up to Cambrai then it's autoroute all the way To Dunkerque. Nice flowing road fast roads.
Don't bother going from Troyes via Reims to Laon etc the roads aren't as smooth or wide or as fun as the other route. Although there is a nice Cathedral and also a Motor museum on Reims (shut Tuesdays
