the classic comment about FTOs here seems to be "bloody expensive insurance for how fast they are"

A plan insured me on an e46 M3 when i was 23 and a 987 Porsche boxster S when i was 24, try them they are brokers, they should get you a decent deal.

Hey, thanks to all who replied to my postings about insurance for my FTO, i went with A-Plan who were by far the best quote.

I had the same problem trying to get insurance on my GTO (3.0 V6 24v Twin turbo) and i was told by A-plan they didn't do under 25 year olds confused

I'm 24 as well (just for another month though) with over 5 years ncb though no UK licence, and called all these companies :

- Direct line -- no under 25 min
- Elephant -- not GTO
- Mark Richards -- make and model doesn't come up on system ?
- premium choice -- no dutch licence ?
- Cheshire insurance -- no under 25
- Adrian Flux -- 2 years residence problem.
- Tesco -- needs tracker.
- A-Plan -- no under 25
- HIC INSURANCE -- 3 years uk minimal
- Greenlight -- 3 years uk minimal
- Footman James -- no under 25
- Swinton -- no under 25
- admiral -- no gto's
- Liverpool Victoria -- no gto's
- Priviledge -- no imports.
- Quinn Direct -- no gto/high performance vehicle's.

The only ones i got a quote from where Sky and Bell, and i ended up with Bell for 970 fully comp, but only after adding my other half to the policy.

So you're saying A-plan insured you, and your 24 too ?

Maybe its because the GTO is a high performance car and the FTO isnt? hehe
