I dread to think, but I'll go with an optimistic 12%

"Mechanically recovered meat" is the key phrase

Teeth, cartilage, grisle,

just eat it and don't think about it.

To be fair they don't appear to claim to be pork on the packaging above, just that they are made of "THICK" so I am guessing :

At 34% meat, at least there is more meat in this than a veggy sausage!

Ever tried a french sausage...more offall (sorry for bad spelling) than a sumo wrestler! Had this in a very expensive place in paris several years ago...had to send it away as it actually turned by stumach!

How about this for Le Mans on the cheap:

Ryanair, Stanstead to Tours, out Thurs back Mon: 95 GBP

4 nights parking at Stanstead Long Stay: 24 GBP

Hertz, Peugeot 207, pick up Tours, Thurs to Mon: 140 EUR

Buy your camping gear at Carrefour and dump it when you leave: approx 100 EUR

Camping pass, Beausejour: 47 EUR

Entrance ticket: 62 EUR

Total cost: 340 EUR or 270 GBP per person plus beer and food

(assuming airport parking, rental car, camping pass and camping gear split between two people)

I think that’s quite a reasonable price.

Just checked and all of these deals are available on the web now. And yes I am bored and can’t wait for next Thursday! biggrin

Pork rind? I'm no expert but surely, technically speaking, a pig's ringpiece is made of "rind"? And thus by a process of extrapolation so are it's eyelids, lips and scrotum/pissflaps (depending on sex). Yum! Good old ASDAs!

If you think those Asda sausages look bad you really ought to pick up some andouillettes from Carrefour to try on the barbiewink

I'd take a bit of 'mechanically reclaimed meat' (AKA jet-washed pigs bones) over them any day!
