PS Your mate sorted Greg out with his A6, thanks for that. Although he was not quite as cheap as the local mob he tried a bit harder and so got the business.

I believe so, although I've never had to test the service. As far as I'm aware it also covers you from a travel insurance point of view. It says something along those lines in my documents any how (2005 130i)

You should have a load of stuff with the car's documents that explain the warranty, breakdown cover, etc.

Yup, unfortunately I did have to test it after an accident. BMW were just superb with their whole service - accident 4:30pm on a Friday in an Alpine pass, by 11:00am the next morning we were in a taxi going to the airport to fly home. Just superb - nothing was too much trouble and one of the reasons I'd be happy to buy another BMW (makes up for the dealers....)
