Heres my shed, totally standard bar the wheels and lowering springs, not worth doing anything else as it's a runaround till i can afford something a bit better.
1.4i twin-cam 16v, pretty nippy.
I have a pulsar bodykit with gti spoiler but it needs painted and i can't justify the cost of it on the shed

Not too bad as far as run-arounds go for the time being, but please whatever you do do not put a GTi-R kit on it unless you plan to insert some of it's running gear too.
You've made the car handle a bit better which is good, now leave it, save your money and buy something sportier when you can.

speinding money on this would jsut be silly, so much so i got a full set of gti shocks with the lowering springs for £50, otherwise i wouldnt have bothered. Wheels were painted by me, heh.

best save and get a Gti-R rather than sticking bit onto your 1.4 16v.

totally agree, had the car approaching 4 years now and have resisted so far so shouldnt be too hard not to. Will be handy having an un-cut front bumper as i aint fond on gti-r's with the bumper cut.best save and get a Gti-R rather than sticking bit onto your 1.4 16v.

its there but its reclined all the way back because it's broken lol, you can just see it in the first pic..Nice little car though!

Thought I would update this (short) thread, it's interesting to see how much I have grown up in 2 years, mainly the fact I no longer type like a yobbo.
Anyway, today, after more than 6 years of ownership, my old sunny was lifted by the scrapman.
Many fond memories bumbling around in this learning the ways of the road, screaming to uni because I was always late, and never once did it break down and leave me stranded.
Final odo reading is 179500 (I kept the clocks), yes that is 7500 miles in 2 years! Had it not been for the rather terminal rot then I have absolutely no doubt it would have went to 200k and beyond.
Oh and I kept my word, I did get that GTI-R
So goodbye old friend, you will be missed!
