Guys

Bought myself a black E36 BMW. Its OK but the paint (esp bonnet and roof) is a little average. I washed and clayed then hit it with AG SRP followed by EGP. Its an improvement no doubt but still not great. I then bought me some paint renovator which has made a very minor improvement but nothing all that noticeable.

I think it needs some proper paint correction. I don't want to blow £600 on a full detail as that would be a significant percentage of the car's total value. Likewise, I don't want to splash out 2-300 notes on equipment I don't know how to use properly and am only really going to use once.

Suggestions? Is there anybody in London who would be willing to let me borrow a polisher for a couple of hours and also show me the ropes in exchange for some nice wine? (Will work for beer springs to mind wink Or does anybody know a detailer who would just tackle specific panels?

Any help appreciated.

Hello, I have recently have my car detailed at a company called KDS Detailing. I know he his based in Gillingham Kent but he is a 2 minute walk from a railway station with trains going directly into London. His detailing starts from around £300 and his work is unbelievable. Also I know he will just do specific panels (roof, bonnet, wing etc.). You can view many pictures of paint correction on his website, well worth a look.
