Herts / S. Mimms convoy to Mid-Essex meet THIS Sunday June 8

C'mon the Herts/N. London Massive - fancy joining the neighbours in Mid-Essex this Sunday?

Some of the Lamborghini Club will be attending the main meet with possibly up to 10 cars including a 6ltr yellow Diablo, an orange Diablo GT, a black Mercialargo, a red & purple Diablo, a red & yellow Urraco, a Diablo Roadster, a Jalpa and two Countash

It goes like this... Meet South Mimms services usual place at the bottom end of the car park between 10:00 - 10:20 to depart around 10:20 for second meeting point about 35 minutes later (join M25 east at S. Mimms to exit J28 on to A12) . Meet other convoy there at 11:00 and depart at 12:00 for final destination where a warm greeting, more Tiv-Talk, drinks, coffee, snacks and optional carvery await you! With the Lambo Owners Club visiting us as well we need a good turnout of TVR's to fly the flag!

The weather is forecast good, 18 - 20 degrees with no probability of rain and mainly blue skies. So be there - you know it makes sense!! Nick.

Hi Nick! Fingers crossed i pick my car up from the sprayers on Saturday!! Want to get the roll cage in it this weekend, but still hope to make it along. I also have a digital video recording system to go in to record all forward motion. Should be good footage of the convoys Wont have the Lotus seats Probax trimmed (super comfy) for at least six weeks so may complain a bit until then

Never really know how many will turn up at S. Mimms for the first convoy to the White Hart. People tend not to respond to the posting then just turn up on the day. That way they don't 'feel' committed. Latst time was like this with two or three definites posted then by the off at 10:30 there were 7 or 8.

But once we get to the first RV point in Essex at around 11, more turn up there as well as another convoy coming from Southend and Thorpe Bay. Then everyone goes from there to the main meet place. This second run is over smaller A and B roads so there is varied driving over the two routes.

Just seen the pictures of the Mid Essex meet! I'm gutted i wasn't there. Spent the whole day getting the car ready though. Will be rolling for next week. Will be running a long drive-in through the country roads if anyone interested. Will post more detail on this in a few days..

Had a very late night and ended up waking up at 10:30am... we made our way down to South-end for about 1pm but as I didn't bring any details of where the meet was we ended up driving around for a bit then getting a late lunch!

Saw a yellow T350, a silver Chim and a blue Chim around the area though. Must of been some of the guys from the meet!
