720 v 730 Tomtom
Discussion
differences are:
Hardware: Lick of paint (black rather than grey)
Software: IQ Routing (routes based upon time of day / traffic speed - if you were dropping onto a motorway that is a pinch point at 5pm for example, it would calculate a different route avoiding it) also has Lane Assist - basically when coming up to a junction on a motorway, it changes the screen to a representation of that junction, highlighting the lane you should be in.
You can download the v8 software for the 720 but you don't get IQ Routes or Lane Assist. Also the 730 has v8 mapping as opposed to v7 on the 720.
It's just the newer model, I'd personally pay the difference but YMMV hope this helps!
