Surfing the Halfords site, swotting up on satnavs, and came across this page, which lists all the discount codes for satnav systems if you buy online (scroll down to see all the codes).

Halfords Discount Codes

Some discounts are only £10 - but some are £60+, so worthwhile - esp for me - as I'm considering a TT 730T, which gives me a £69 discount I think.

Might be handy for someone.

Thanks for that, just got myself £45 off a 730 without the T, to replace my ancient, truly awful and hardly ever used 2003 Navman iCN630, which has done it's best over the years to put me off Sat Nav forevermore. Going to try again with the TT.

I bought a Navman iCN630 in 2004 - largely after reading Don's report on it - and although it plays tricks on me occasionally, I've found it very good. No doubt more recent products will be far better, but I still use the Navman and I'm happy with it.

Warren - if you want to throw your iCN630 away, chuck it in this direction if you would be so kind. smile

Best wishes all,
Dave.

YHM.

The TT730 is pretty nifty, I'm impressed. I've just paired it with my phone and transferred my address book over to it. So I'm now hands free without the daft DanDare earpiece, and with touch screen dialling.

Hiya Warren,

Many thank for your message, I have replied.

I'm glad to hear you're happy with the TT730, so I hope it will continue to work well for you.

Best wishes all,
Dave.
