Ferry crossings - fuel surcharge

Heard on BBC News this morning that the ferry companies are starting to add fuel surcharges to crossings - £5 - £10. Might pay to have some spare cash handy.

I very much doubt they'll be able to charge these to people with pre-existing bookings which have already been paid for... In essence, it would be breach of contract.
