Another sponsorship request

This weekend i'm doing the Marin Rough Ride wit a bunch of mates. we're doing it in aid of Pancreatic Cancer as it's something that is particularly close to me at the minute. I don't normally agree with charitable requests unless they are 'my charity' hence me not mentioning this until now, and of course I understand if people don't agree with it.

However, if you do feel like donating some money to charity and cancer is close to you, please, anything you can spare would be much appreciated.

How did you do? Did you do the short or long route? I did the short route today... never been so exhausted in my life! I hope you weren't one of the many hospitalised!!

We attempted the long route.

One of our bunch came a cropper, not badly but he did have to call it a day at the half way marker on the ambulance. Three of us carried on but we'd lost too much time to catch up. Chap number 3 lost his legs just before the 3/4 point and we all decided to bail out on the road as time was getting on.

I thought the route was brilliant, really good, demanding trails, but the campsite left alot to be desired. Too few facilities and what was there was crap.
