Audi TT cabrio roof help

Eh up, my respected oracle of Ph friends.

I wonder if anyone can help me here.

A buddy of mine has an 03 Audi TT 225. When she closes the convertable roof, it shuts and locks just fine. No wind noise or anything to suggest that it's not latched securely.

However, there's obviously a sensor somewhere that's out of adjustment, because even though the roof is closed, the 'roof open' lamp is continually flashing on the dash.

So I guess there's a microswitch somewhere which requires attention.

Can someone point me in the direction to start looking for said dodgy switch or sensor to avoid Audi Main Stealer wallet lightning?

My wife had a TT Cab and I think the switch for the roof sensor is built into one of the 2 clips along the top of the windscreen where the soft top locates.
