F1 testing wkend @ Silverstone

Just after some opinions with regards to the weekend. What are the chances of seeing any F1 teams or will the track just be littered with cars that run alongside the big boys.

experiences from those who went last year will be greatly received

Went last year, was some of the big boys there.

Massa, Raikkonen, Alonso were all there.

Not sure who will be there this year but it's worth it to see the F1 cars.

A lot depends on the weather as well, if the weather is bad then not many cars usually bother to go out.

It's actually on from Tuesday 24th June to Thursday 26th June - so not a weekend, and tickets have to be purchased in advance according to the website.

I went last year and it's worth the cheap entrance fee to see a selection of F1 cars at full chat. If I remember rightly about half of the teams were there and on average one world championship driver for each team. The rest was made up of test drivers but still worth going.

I'm already booked up for the Wednesday and looking forward to it. Hope the weather is good.
