Saw one of these today on the M25 on a 57 plate. Is that as odd as it seems?

Officially they were produced from 2001 to 2004 but a number of unregistered ones were sold at the liquidation auction for MG when they went bump. Some of them were incomplete so I guess someone brought one of those, finished it off and put it on the road.

There's a list of all the cars here if you want to see if you recognise which one it was:

David Wood's (owner of Luffield cars) one is a fairly regular sight round Loughborough.

Ok thanks. I think the reg was VX or XV57 ... Twas on the M25 on Sat. I have to say it was a good looking car, very mean looking. Thanks for the info.

I saw a 56 plated VW camper, the round sort, on a AA truck.

Is this a Brazillian import?

Read this it might explain why you saw one on a 57 plate.

Yeah been reading up on it today, the interior ruins the car apart from that it seems like a good package. Far too expensive tho.

I've seen this on the M25 too, saw it parked at a service station later and although (presuming it was the same car) it's a very nice car the owner had removed the rear spoiler leaving two dirty great lines on the back - get it valeted! tongue out
