Ever since I've had my Tiv, and notwithstanding a whole load of mods/replacement bits over the years, it has interfered with TV, especially Sky boxes which it locks up hehe... I had assumed that the move to Emerald ECU and coilpacks would prolly sort it as pretty much everything spark related has been renewed... wrong. Neighbours have just moaned so feel I need to try and resolve this... given the alternator is the one bit of underbonnet electrickery that has not been replaced, could this be a likely candidate and how could I check/fix?

Usually this is sorted just by having a resistive component in the HT system - either the plugs, plug extender or HT leads.

You could try connecting the foil of the underbonnet heat insulation to ground (battery negative) , this would help to screen the source of the interference i.e the HT circuitry.
