Tired of seeing Hamilton's dad

Anybody else getting a little tired of seeing Lewis Hamilton's dad all the time? 
Yes, he's proud of his son, just like all the other F1 drivers dads i'd imagine, so why are we seeing him on tv all the time? we don't get Kimmi's dad rammed down our throats do we?
We also don't get other drivers managers rammed down our throats all the time either, so why are we being force fed pictures of Lewis's dad all the time?
Don't get me started on his brother either!!! its bad enough having the camera cut to his dad all the time, but now we've got his brother being on screen too, why is this? none of the other drivers do it, so why do we have to watch pictures of his family? I assume we'll be seeing pictures of his aunts and uncles all running riot in the pits next?

I can't ever remember seeing Button's dad at all, and certainly never Anthony Davidson's dad either, guess those two dads must not be such freeloaders as the Hamiltons
After a race has finsihed, must we be subjected to pictures of his dad and brother all the time? the other drivers don't ram their families down our throats, I'd like the hamiltons to do the same and just keep their heads down

As I said on the Canadian GP thread... What bugged me yesterday were his comments after being asked by Louise Goodman about his crash in the CGT. "I'm not embarrassed, I would be if it had been in my old Vauxhall" If he meant the CGT was a difficult car compared to the cavalier to drive then ok but I got the feeling he was gloating at the fact he could now drive round in a £300K car and would only be embarrassed driving a "normal" car - which would show how people so easily forget where they came from

Anthony is his Manager, just as Willi Weber was Michael Schumacher's. We used to see Willi in the pits at every race yet that didn't cause much moaning.

Not Really - I try not to laugh at the accidents of others.Its also not Mr Hamilton as a person that annoys me, after all, he made ALOT of sacrifices and as a result helped give us a national hero in motorsport.
Its the fact that the producers of ITV think we want to hear / see him on the box in the first place!! - maybe things will change when we get back to the BBC.

It's not just ITV, the German based channels also pick up a lot of pit garage vids and paddock walkies of Senior Hammy...but it's more bearable here as they also spend a lot of time with the German drivers, and team officials (and often their family get involved too)...ITV don't control the live feed during the race do they?
It does seem like a bit of minor gripe to me I must admit. As said he is his manager after all.
As an aside, I saw the race this time last year in Italy and their coverage was extremely comprehensive and had quite a bit of discussion with studio based experts (including Luca Badoa, who was a smidge biased
).
It would have been even better if I could speak Italian.

Could not agree more, it might also have something to do with the fact that Lewis, unlike Jenson and Anthony D, lead the Chmpionship for most of last year and is doing so again this year and so has brought many more viewers to ITV.

When it comes to celebs and role models, I'd rather have Anthony Hamilton out there - up until now at least he's a great example, especially considering all the moans we get about lazy people in Britain. Someone goes out there and does something positive and you all moan!! Sheesh
Good luck to him, he's worked bloody hard for more than 15 years and is now getting his reward and enjoying life. Good luck to him.

Sniffpetrol did a great spoof on him calling him "Pikey Dad" - was very amusing.
