when going on a decent run out the front brakes start to squeal when braking, is this to do with how hot they get and any idea about fixing the problem. if i go on a short run it does not happen

The car always did that Anthony.
A bit of copper grease on the rear of the pad always did the trick.
I'll happily do it for you if you pop round in the week - just give me a call first to make sure i'm in.

If a smear of coppaslip doesn't do the trick, the next thing to try would be clean that off and use some anti-squeal adhesive (non-setting high temperature goop) instead. If it still squeals, chamfer the leading and trailing edges of the pads slightly.

just completed the copper grease method, unable to test yet due to split pin broke at end when turning the end over. anybody know where i can get a replacement

I put smoe anti aqeal pads on the back of the pad 1.99 done the trick i now no longer look like a berk ariving at traffic lights lol
