The big one that is across the centre of the screen. It makes all of the drop down menus totally unusable. Not good.

Not being able to navigate back to 'my info' is now hugely annoying as this advert turns up in more and more threads.

Yup, I just noticed it too. The menus now drop down behind the advert rather than in front of it.

This is on FireFox v2.0.0.14 and also IE v7.0

I mentioned this in other feedback to PH, Still nothing has been done about it. Perhaps your adverts are more important than us

Been happening for a few days on my PC.

Doesn't happen on my PC (IE 6), but one possible workaround might be to change your skin to "Big Blue", which replaces the drop down menus with normal links.

If you go into "My Preferences", you can select the skin from a drop down list at the bottom left.

I'm glad I now have adblock. I didn't want to go to such measures, but after that damned HSBC advert, no such problems!


Which, yes I know, is only a consolation for those that can add it to their browser!

Hi peeps.

I am going to look at all these adverts in the next few days to review their placement and how they are affecting menus and the such. Is the problem with the ad in the top right corner, or the one on some forums that appears inbetween the menu and the content of the forum?

The latter for me, Pete. IE7 on Vista. The little top right ones have never been an issue.

Sometimes appears twice on the same page.

One advert in the top right as normal.

The other being just below the menu tabs. It's this one, below the menu tabs that screws up the menu options.

All removed apart from MotorSport forum, I will check on the status of that (and if I will get my hand slapped for the ones I just removed) tomorrow!
