100a fuse

just been recovered home ,100a fuse blown between alternator and battery replaced same ,blew again less than 10 miles ,came home on a flatbed.

what could cause said fuse to keep blowing ,having driven 150 miles previously ?

One of the causes can be if any of the bits, including the fuse holder, gets dirty/corroded etc. Try giving it a good clean and see if that helps.
Failing that, if it continues to keep blowing, some of the independent TVR specialists are doing conversions to fit the 100A fuse in a much more accesible place to make changing it easier.
Have a search on some of the threads, it has been discussed a lot!

Don't just change the fuse, you should change the holder at the same time if you have one.

Mine blew 3 times in 6 months. Final cure was to secure the leads on battery. Loose leads kept blowing fuse. Since I had a new battery and secured the leads tight, has been fine for 10,000 miles plus.

Andy as said above and check connections on battery, this is what I trace my to been fine ever since.
