Had some blatting fun seriously spoiled at the weekend due to Herts and Beds councils coating a whole bunch of my favourite roads with tar and gravel banghead

The latest one is the road from Baldock down through Gravely which nearly pebble dashed my daugther and me! (I turned round after 50m but still had to empty the gravel out of the car after).

Is this method of fixing roads really cost effective? (like I care - I am just angry!)

They're just about to do the B158 from Hertford to Essendon too. All the signs were up yesterday. They call it 'road dressing' Its annoying, pointless and above all, fking lethal but hey, its cheap and it makes them look (to the idiot in the street) that they are investing in the local roads.

Morons.

Noticed the same - and it's weird odd bits of road - some roads are in a shocking state, but they are left alone, the roads which aren't too bad got "re-surfaced" just had the cars detailed too, so I was almost in tears. mad
