sunday night in Rouen

this year have decided stay in rouen on sunday night! is anybody else? (the rest of my group are staying down for longer!)

does anyone know where to stay? somewhere with not to dodgy parking?

cant wait only 2 full days left at work!!!

You 'can' go posh, but we stayed in the Ibis just on the edge of town (but looking it up for you seems Sunday is booked out

Honfluer is stunning. Get there and get into the small town quay and get a restaurant with seats overlooking the quay...couple of bottles of wine, some nice fish and job's a goodun

Another vote for Honfleur - Le Touquet has also been a favoured spot of ours on the return journey. Sunday night usually a good one.

If I remember rightly from last year campers park free next to the marina in Honfleur. Fab town(s) to stop at to reaclimatise yourselves to "normality" before getting home!

May have a spare hotel room booked at the Mercure(?) on the river in Rouen. Contact me for details.

We did Honfleur on the sunday last year, it's lovely as has been said below, but it's a bit quiet and boring at night if you want a good wind-down drink. Much more to do in Rouen at night, then we're off to Deauville for some casino action, a game of golf and a relaax on the beach.

Isnt that the point after 5 days of drinking and sleeping on a hard ground and the all night parties (especially the Drinking for Holland mob in Maison Blanc, noisy buggers )
