Did mine Saturday 900grms but think anything between 850-1000 will do as many people has tried these amounts with good results.

900 is to much, it wont work properly. I Just had mine regassed by a company that know what they are doing ! 750-800gms is all thats needed.

The Cerb Air Con system is the type that constantly switches itself on and off. The Readings you should get, measured at the Driver's air vent, should see it cycling between 2 deg cent, then back up to about 5, then back to 2, and so on.

Then when I first got my car and called the factory for info, they said 600g and use Pag46 oil as lubricant, but several others have gone with 750g.

Alan's right though - too much as it stops working also.

The Air Con guy actually did put in 600g at first. Then ran it and tested it, and kept adding till he got the Temp down to 2degC. Just had a look at the bill, it was 800g.

Anyone who is in travelling distance of Gloucester I'd recomend the company, it is all they do - 100% Air Con. Takes 1/2.

I found out from somewhere that there should be 950 grams added, but I had 850 put into mine.

I had mine regased a couple of weeks ago and the chap said 900gms.

Works OK and I suppose a bit extra for leaks won't hurt!!;)

Lets see how it survives the run down to Le Mans tomorrow.

Too little and it won't work very well.

Too much and the system will overpressure and shut down a lot of the time (pump cut out)

The best way is as little as you can get away with but still get Ice cold air.

Mine was perefctly fine at 900. But Perfect at 800, it does make a difference..

Remember those old Analogue guages on most of the AC machines arent the most accurate of things.

Anyone recommend a re-gassing firm in Surrey and an approximate price.

Cheers,
