Not wanting to seem tight , but is it worth waiting till end of summer for a bargain ?
don't really need a car for the coming months as use motorbike for commute etc till about november but have cash now , around 11k for best s1/s2 available.
is there really a big price difference between summer /winter ?
are there more for sale once the sun goes in ?

the way i see it is that if you wait until the end of the summer then that is one summer less you will enjoy the car. If you have the cash now and one comes along that you like and can afford then buy it.
Life is too short to wait for something that you want and can have now for the sake of hopefully saving a few quid.

I agree with hue, what price would you put on an excellent summer of topless hoonage?, it depends on your personal circumstances, its definitely worth at least a grand ... I got mine last november and have had a few ace sunny days.
Through the winter though was a horrible wait, peering through the curtains every morning in hope of some nice dry roads or at least a break to give her a clean.
Again don't know what your hobbies are but it sure beats going down the local and blowing 50 brick in the beer garden every day, I waited 5 years saving up gradually bit by bit, If you have the opportunity now grasp it by the bolocs, you will love it !
