Anyone had any experience of hard track day use in a Monaro?

I'm over in the US now and thinking of picking one up as you can get a good '04 'Goat' (as they call them here) for about 15k USD.

From a brief test drive I was really impressed with the performance but I can see the following would need changing:

1. Brakes (barely adequate for road use!)
2. Throttle Pedal position
3. Springs and dampers

What is the actual suspension geometry and location like? Is there a recommended source for aftermarket suspension parts?

The Yanks rave about KW variant 3 coilovers, unless their roads are billiard table smooth avoid them or be prepared to spend a long time experimenting with spring rates (I speak from bitter experience!)

Even then the KW's will be wrong unless you get the dampers sorted too; They'll be set up for the overly hard springs.
