I'm having some difficulty fitting a new spring/shock absorber to my 400SE. I'm told the lower wishbone should be from a Cortina but it is possible that someone might have fitted a Granada wishbone by mistake which would make the geometry wrong. Does anyone know what visual differences there are so that I can check which wishbone I have on my car. I've tried searching the web for photos without luck. TIA.

There are virtually no clues unless you have them side by side and then the different dimensions are apparent. I've PM'd you the dimensions of a cortina wishbone so you can check against yours.
