Crappy suspension diagnosis - 528i touring...

We have a E39 528i touring 2000 model year. Lately the suspension has started to seem rather wallowy. We had it checked out by a stealer and they told us it was fine and dandy, however, it doesn't feel it and it's getting through front tyres as well.

Car has about 70k on the clock and is in general but careful use, i.e. it's not thrashed.

Wallowing would indicate dampers worn and this would also cause that front tyre wear. I would go for some sports orientated dampers only and check the coil springs for breakages. Then check bushes whilst its all apart. You can also fit the E39 PhoenixMotorsport rear anti-roll bar kit which is a nice upgrade too. Add some poly roll bar bushes and you will end up doing track days in it!!!
