Got my shiny new shocks and springs for the car! bounce

Just need to get them on now. Should be done by the end of the month, just in time for the wedge fest. Can't wait to feel the difference. driving

Read through Andy Marshall's article on the wedge pages, then had a brief e-mail conversation with him.

Decided on the Redline shocks from RT Racing, bought the springs from Richard aswell.

I had them fitted (by RT) to my 280 FHC about 4 years ago...hell of a difference.

The sensation of hurtling down country lanes in the bottom of bouncing skip was totally banished. hehe

I suppose it depends how worn your current set-up is of course.
They're very easy to adjust too.

What about SH's coil overs - anyone fitted these yet? I'm tempted but it would be nice to see a review before parting with my hard earned...

Yep mine is quite bouncy at the back, looking forward to seeing how it changes the driving experience.

I had wanted to buy a set of Steve Heath's GAZ-based coilovers on one of my 280is here in the States, but Steve told me GAZ would not let him sell to the US because of potential liability and/or litigation problems.
I ended up going with AVOs and 350i springs. I had the car out on the track last weekend and it performed beautifully!

Its not only the shocks/springs/platforms , its the correct fitting and setting up that is critical , have had my wedge set by a tvr indy and she is now very different ie safer to drive , confidence through corners , you don't want scary moments !
