Does any one now the exact model that the driveshaft lock tabs are from. My local ford place says that there are several different ones and if they order in the wrong ones from ford then that can't send them back.
Its the small plate with 2 holes that the driveshaft bolts go through, 3 each end on the CV joint. its for a 1998 4.0ltr chim.

Follow this url to a picture of these things. http://www.lamboreplica.co.uk/driveshaftwashers.jp... Anyone know where you can get them, or do most people not use them on the driveshafrs.

They are not lock tabs, they are like a glorified washer VW/Audi and various other manafacturers use them in the same way,but they have no tabs to knock over and would not be that good for the reason that the bolts have round headswink they should be the same as the Granada range up to 95 approx, whats wrong with yours?

Nothing if I could find them. I took everything apart about 9 months ago and now I am putting it back together, I can only find 9 of the 12 required.

Take one you do have to a Ford dealer and get em to match them to a Granny or Sierra Cossie if they have a choice get them to order one of each(should both be same anyways),failing that have you tried a Ford breaker they will probably give them to you(no value)or couple of quid.
