Insurance - No Garage!

Evening All

Have found several threads for insurance, but none specifically for Chimaeras that are not garaged every night.
Any recommendations for a good provider? Best quote so far is £523 from Hagerty.....

A plan did mine, car kept overnight on driveway.

You did well to get it for that price without a garage - the best I can do, parked on a drive, with mods included in London is over £700 (clean license and no claims with full NCD). That is also with A-Plan.

I couldnt beat Hagerty - parked on the drive £395 this year :-) no one else got within £150

Wow - just spoke to Direct Line (£445) and Elephant (£403).
Both quotes for fully comp on a 1999 Chim 4.0, parked on driveway, limited to 3000 miles pa......

I guess the one thing in my favour is living in the Surrey Countryside, and just over 35 years old.

Admiral MultiCar policy has been the cheapest option for me for years. 4.l Chimaera, fully comp, protected no claims, 5000 miles for £354.

The other benefit is for the kids, I've got policies for my two sons within the Mulicar deal which are a shedload cheaper than any other company!

Very strange how these things can vary - its currently with Admiral (put it on the policy when I bought the car in January, and took my other car off) and Multicar just wasnt reasonable.
Renewal has just come in from Admiral at £813!!!!!

Mine lives on the road, unlimited mileage, well under £400 with Manning.

Cheapest isn't always the best, my Son went with some nautical firm, he won't be going there again.

Privilege might be worth a try. Mine is about £320 (1995 4.0 3000 mile limit) Car kept on driveway full NCD, me and the wife just over 30.

Mine insured for 12000 miles a year and on driveway, took a while to do but saved me a few hundred

Mannings here too.
On a drive but less than £500 with mods, full business use and unlimited mielage and honoured full no claims for Mrs FFG (previosly a named driver only).
Both Griffs with them so 5% discount on each.
As has been said we were with a well respected supermarket (all helps) until we had to claim and they were worse than appalling - never again. Never return calls, never speak to the same person, most wit no idea whats happening, waste of space. Good at retailing but shouldn't do non core stuff.

Great quote from Classic line £293.66 with spouse no garage parked on driveway, guaranteed value, european cover, 5000 miles £250 excess didn't find anyone to come close to that!
