Does anyone have any recommendations of garages to do my Tuscans 12k service? Only place I have heard of in Scotland is Dreadnought and they seem to be quite expensive compared to other companies that advertise on here.

If I have to pay then I will but I don't see the point in paying over the odds for a job that can be done just as well for a different price.

Oh, i'm in Carnoustie by the way, just so you know location.

Just a thought, quite a few of the Independent TVR specialists in England offer a collection/delivery service. If prices where you are are so expensive, it may be worth getting an indie to collect/service/return your car and still save a bit of money. I'm sure if you contact them they will give you a quote. Then again, if you go for this option, you might want to drive your newly serviced P & J back home yourself and save even more money!

I've used Dreadnought a few times when i had the chim and the are overly expensive, but equally they have a godd reputation. I drove my cerb from Aberdeen to Offords in Cambridge last year and still saved hundreds. Took the time to visit some friends and family in the motherland, but would have been snookered if it required some major work, so might go back to Dreadnought for the 6000 mile service.

Dreadnought will pick-up/drop-off at Stirling train station if that's any help.

I recently used Dreadnought for 12k service/mot and new toyos on my Griff, found them helpfull, and more importantly seemed to know their stuff... Cost? well i felt it was ok and it is only once a year. No complaints here.

this seems cheap for the work involved in a 12k service, whats the catch

I've just emailed them, sounds like a great price and looking at there website, they seem genuine. Do they adjust tappets etc as well with a 12k?

I use Hexham - Great service and a good run there too.

If you time it properly, you could catch National Express train via Newcastle back up if you wanted to leave the car and vice versa for collection. Really easy journey.Done it many a time.
