Had the E90 Detailed....Impressed

I had my car detailed last week by Auto Care and have to admit that I am very impressed with the results. The car looks better than it did when new. The following was done to the car:

1. Rinse wheels and arches + lower body.
2. Clean wheels with VP Billberry and brushes/cloths.
3. Rinse car and foam with Citrus Degreaser.
4. Rinse and wash with Duragloss Shampoo.
5. Rinse and clay entire car.
6. Final wash / rinse down.
7. Dry with towels and blower.
8. Mask off all trim etc.
9. Machine polish.
10.Apply Klasse paint cleaner / sealant.
11.Apply Acrylic Glanz (doesn't normally use this but wanted to test it out, normally applies 2 coats of Collinite or Petes 53 wax).
12.Polish wheels with Rejex and dress tyres.
13.Final wipe down of all trim and clean windows

Thoroughly recommend having this done as it totally transforms the appearance of the car.

Cost was a special rate as I know John of Auto Care quite well, but normal cost would be around £180.

They work for me. Freshly clean black cars always look sooo good ..... but it never lasts for long.

I was quoted £450 for a similar job by an outfit in Norwich, so I'd be interested in his contact details if he'll come to Norfolk/Suffolk border.

Our carbon black 535d is covered in swirl marks, I think the previous owners used to put it through an automatic car wash.

Yes all of the swirl marks are gone and all bar one scratch which I knew wouldn't come out. Superb job. Let me know if you'd like John's contact details.
