cerbera s6 brakes

hi , im new to the pistonheads slte, and im looking for some help and advice, the brakes on my cerbera speed six (2000) are in need of replacing, discs & pads, i dont fancy paying dealer prices so can any of you more expericenced TVR owners tell me where to source some ? Would you advise an upgrade from the standard set up, the brakes are the only thing i can fault on the car, dont seem to be up to the job, or is that just because mine are tired ?

even though you're on teh smaller 296mm discs they should still be pretty effective .. when you say theyre the bit that lets the car down can you explain how? will give us better idea of how to advise you.

Looking at sorting mine soon too, but no real plans to upgrade. My discs getting grooved and pads not as good as they could be, but I do not believe the upgrades commonly discussed for AJP8's are as necessary on the S6, unless of course you are cooking them out on the track
