Along the lines of some of the other threads about at the moment (MTB v road bike and relative performance) i was wondering what a decent bike weighs.

I have a cannondale hardtail MTB F600 and it is is 22lbs. Is that a lot for a MTB and how does it compare to road bikes....???

Thanks CAB

PS - i had to weigh the bike to setup a new toy a garmin edge ;-)

Mine (Boardman MTB Pro) is about 23lb something, about 10.5 kilos. But at the moment it's probably half as much again with all the mud from the weekend!

Please post pics of your Fat Chance. I imagine you have a load of Ringle and Grafton stuff on it.
