Hi guys,
Thinking about changing shockers while the old girls having new clutch, slave cylinder, master cylinder and rear discs and pads, might as well do shockers as o/s rear is weeping.

Anybody know the dimensions, poundage for springs ( 120lb ? )and a half decent make. Shes sitting on Avos at present and they seem ok, a bit stiffer compared to the transit.

Shes a 1998 4.5 and was wandering if avos were fitted as standard .

Any input appreciated.

I got mine off trackcar off here.

He asked me what sort of use it'd get, road types, etc and he recommended the best springs for what I wanted.

He got it spot on.

I think this is the rough specs.

9" x 2 1/4 Fronts anything from 400 to 500 lb

10" x 21/4 Rears anything from 350 to 450 lb

Spring rates will vary a lot on what you want the car to do, the roads you use, the weight of your car and the dampers you use.

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong with the numbers.
