Not knowing a great deal about TVR's does this graph look ok...The car in question is my 2004 4.2 cerb (i had to invert the colours as the light blue does not show up well on monitors)

Cheers

356 bhp is very near TVR's quoted figure so you should consider that a good results. Have you made any tweaks or is that completely standard.

Almost a typical set of curves except for the dips at 4500rpm and then at 5500rpm, I would say that there is scope for improvement. Not sure if the figures are correct though as on most dynos 310bhp at the wheels would equate to about 380bhp at the fly.

Good news then seems like a fit and healthy one...

Initially, I thought the torque curve was a mess, but then I noticed the figures on the Right of the chart, that don't start at zero.

Those big looking dips are a measly 15lb, so I reckon that's about the same read out as my 4.2 smile

But the 0-350lb chart, makes it look a lot cleaner smile

Possibly, but it's hard to gauge as it's very rare you see a graph for a Cerb ran on Dastek rollers, 4th gear and discrepencey in the calculation from wheels to fly power could be misleading.

Dasteks read high at the wheels, so the smaller loss is normal. Looks like a good 4.2 to me smile

Cheers Charlie, that clears that up, always good to have an expert to help out.

Wierd alright...Rollers have just been calibrated by dastek and are reading spot on on all other cars so i am 99% its not them. More investigation is required, my graph is a bit peaky but it also seems to be making good power and torque. Will throw her back on at the weekend and see what transpires...

What aspect of weirdness are we concerned with here?

As already said the graph looks exaggerated because its on a 'larger' scale other than that its a normalish 4.2 shape. The Torque looks very strong for a 4.2 but it is a late (2004) car thumbup
