Looks like from the 31st July they are closing the dealership -

Then more good news they will be selling off all Lotus stock (cars parts & accessories) on Saturday and Sunday 5th & 6th July.

Perhaps some bits will even be list price!

Do they actually have any cars in stock??
Their website is crap and hasnt changed for years. I am not surprised they are closing because they have never put any effort into the brand.

???? I had noticed that their used stock of Lotus had dwindled one by one and now they don't have any at all???

Have they shut down or just stopped selling Lotus cars do you know and what about the servicing?

Mind you, my warranty is up in August and Paul Matty are even closer for me.

Think NW are still trading, but not as Lotus dealers - brother bought his Exige S off NW -he's tried to contact them for some warranty work, but gave up, he's now dealing with CN at Northwich...

Odd about NW, as they are going to continue as an official service centre for 12 months AFAIK. As for Ribble, don't think I've ever seen a good word said about them frown

I heard today from someone in the trade that a well know South Coast dealer is soon to go. A few on here have bought their casrs from them.
I wish our local official dealer would get culled so we could get someone decent looking after us - fortunately we have a very good local specialist.

Just had a chat with NW and indeed they are stopping the Lotus new car franchise on 31st July and replacing it with another marque - yet to be disclosed. Lotus are to appoint another Midlands franchise.

I was initially dissapointed at this as they are only 5 miles from my office and servicing trips were not an inconvenience at all, however, it looks like Paul Matty will be getting the work in future (and they are only 4 miles from my office!). I think their stamp in your service book carries as much "clout" as any franchised dealership anyway?

im going to have a drive to Ribble Valley today to see what they have to sell. I know for a fact that the ony Exige S that they ahve is a Lazer Blue one that they have had for sale for almost 2 years now and were/are asking a ridiculous price for it.

I have heard a rumour on another site (no way of confirming it of course) that NW will be selling Red Cars - interesting?
