Jeff Schwartz Ultima
Discussion
I have some new shots of Jeff's Ultima sporting his new Forgeline wheels and Baer brakes. This is from his Lincoln NE stop on the Hotrod Power Tour 2008. I took a ride in this thing, and I'll have to say there isn't much else in this world to aspire to

And here's a short video of him starting the Ultima and pulling away from the shop. Very docile until you hit the loud pedal.

Just got back last night from the Power Tour and a few thousand miles.
It was quite a thrash to get the car ready, since I'd just changed to a Big Stuff 3 engine management system days before I left. Also had to replace the alternator as it quit working, and the new one from the parts store was bad as well. I did it solo this year, Crafty was gonna do it with me again, but backed out due to business oomittments.
We had to dodge some flooded roads as there was major flood disasters in several of the States we visited.
In Cedar Falls Iowa the entire race track facility was under water.
The car worked well, except the air con quit.
I had the charge checked before I left, found some loose connectors, replaced them with weatherpacs. Was working awesome when I left and for a couple days.
Nice to meet you mohrt.

(Stock AP are 12.7") The brakes were my prize for winning the 2006 0-200-0. We now have that brake kit available for Ultimas, the we developed. I also upgraded to Big Stuff 3 engine mgmt right before HRPT.

Went to see Jeff while over in Chicago last week. I was lucky enough to take a ride out in his tt ls7. I called with 30 mins to spare from a cab as I was heading to the airport. He gave me nearly an hour of his time and even went home to get the Ultima so I could have a ride. Big thanks and certainly a top gent. Here's man and motor;

Also love what he's done with carbon trim inside. Shame I didn't take a picture.
Some serious motors in the workshop as well.
Great experience and worth the $200 cab ride any day.
Cheers Jeff :-)

Paul,
It's actually a 65 Pontiac LeMans from Texas. I had to buy it in order to get the Convertible body that my customer wanted. The guy selling em would only sell as a pair.
Only minor surface rust. It's going on Ebay.
The Convertible one (not shown) is getting a full Schwartz Musclecar Chassis and a twin turbo EFI 389 pontiac, Along with 14" monoblock brakes, 18 x 13" Forgeline wheels, AC, etc.
