had my monaro few weeks now,has only done 12000 mls,serviced at 10000 18 months ago,should i have it serviced as its only covered 2000 since last one?

Had a similar decision to make with my Monaro, it only had 2000 miles on the clock when it was 10 months old, they say every 10000 miles or 12 months so I had it done 2 months later with just over 3000 miles on the clock just to keep the history correct.
The service only cost £190 so I thought it was worth it.

Thanks for the advice guys,better get it booked in!The garage i bought it from knows a Vauxhall mechanic who looks after Monaros & does work on the side,should i let him do it,or go to main dealer?

Go to a main dealer that has a Monaro trained technician and get it done officially, for what it will save you going un official its not worth it.

Having seen the region in which you live, I would advise you to think carefully about taking it to an 'approved' dealer. I speak from experience. I'm just outside Cambridge and would take the day off and go to Monkfish - they may even carry out the work while you wait if you ask nicely.
