Beverley Classic car show 18th June

Next Wednesday evening in the Market place. Last year was a huge success and this year is fully booked up with over 200 cars on display.

Missed it last year, but I heard many exhibiting left early. Will give it a look though.

On 6 onwards, was there last year one of the best shows the club have had, don't think anyone left early. Plenty of people came out to have a look round.

6pm - 7pm then into the market square?

I'll be there as close to six as possible, just need to drop car off at home and chuck some non-work type clothes on, then walk down.

Mrs Mighty and I were discussing this the other night, so its definitely on the radar here, and she's not one to turn down a quick pint in Nellies. I'm guessing that will mean I have to make the effort to walk into town...

Taking my car up after work then quick bite to eat, meeting up for a pint sounds good. Just hope the weather gets better.

Normally come up for this but Vicki and the kids only get back from Spain this afternoon, so Le Mans, then disappearing off to another car do an hour after they get home might not go down too well

You just haven't trained them right have you, you should justify your car related trips by the fact they have just had holiday in spain! With the right amount of guilt your tea should be on the table when you get back

Don't have a clue what I'll be wearing but no doubt I shall be the only one that looks like a redneck. Walking in to town if the weather is good, Camaro if it looks iffy, FIAT is its chucking it down!

er sorry? Are you having a laugh?

When my wife says - "I'd rather you didn't do them all (leaving me with the two small kids) but I don't mind if you do either the MegaHoon or both Le Mans" - I have trouble arguing with the fairness and logic.

To then take the p!ss the afternoon they come back is not a case of being under anything except possibly her later that evening

Problem is Oliver ... that they went to Spain BECAUSE I had gone to Le Mans!

However, house is tidy, bed is freshly made, tea is already cooked and in fridge for when they get back ... ensuing brownie points has absolutely nothing to do with going to a classic car show in Beverley though if you get my drift

Even with the awfull weather still turned out to be a good show, Testarossa was especially nice as we watched it start up and leave .

Nice to meet up with some of the local PH folk.

Nellys is better than it used to be, wheat beers pretty good as well.
