Have you a convertible dash??? have you set contrast to zero??? If so put the car in dark garage and you can just about see the LCD panel to correct it.
Yes. They've never worked since my pod display was upgraded to the black on green display in the early days. Never bothered to investigate as you can control those things from the menu screens.
