window rattles

yep it rattles like a good un, if I find me a star driver would a complete car numpty be able to sort it ?

my window rattles so bad! SO SO BAD, S2, 2002, WITH THE WINDERS - how do you fix? the seloc forum aint that useful? any one done it? please help

Mines the same (2002 S2)....

I just don't have the half way up - it's all or nothing!

They both rattle in my 07R plus the passenger window,when putting up,almost 'clunks'of its rails. I also have a very annoying rattle under the Gearbox cover tunnel,It sounds to me some of the wires have come un-fastened so nothing to worry about I guess! If I still owned my Alfa I be calling It,'Alfa Passion'.

Sinclaires sorted one of mine, not sure what they did but much better

the other will get done when the car goes in for a new steering rack shortly

My '03 S2 windows rattle on both driver's and passenger's sides when not fully up. I tend to drive roof off and windows down, and use a rubber wedge between the glass and the inside edge of the window channel which whilst not very elegant has cured the problem entirely. I cut a pencil eraser diagonaly in half to make the two wedges - just make sure they're wide / thick enough not to drop down inside the door, or even more rattles!

IIRC its normally caused by wear and tear on some plastic clips attached to the glass, theres a temporary fix involving some masking tape but the only real fix is to replace the glass for around £90

I cured the window rattle in my 06 111R. Bought a TT
