Oil in air intake pipe

I was fitting my dump valve yesterday and noticed that there was traces of oil on the intercooler lip that the pipe is connected to. I then took off the front turbo pipe and there was oil in that too but this seemed to be coming from the pipe off the standard oil breather.
I checked the oil level and that's 1/2 way between the 2 holes on the dipstick.

Is this normal or is something about to go pop?

Normally find a few traces on most of our turbo cars. cant remember the full reason behind it tho.

Totally normal, thats why a lot of us have istalled a catch tank of some description, stops the oil vapor being sent to the intake.

My air hose to the front turbo had a bit of oil in it which was a worry. I had the car recently upgraded and they swapped the air hoses around (they moved the air filters forward) and the turbo I thought was in trouble has left the new hose connected to it clean since the upgrade.

I would keep an eye on it and check the oil level regularly. If it looks like you're losing oil relatively quickly then one or more turbos might have a leak, which in turn I guess will involve a rebuild at some point in the future. Take the hose off the other turbo and see if it's clean. Also try to clean up the dirty hose a bit, go for a run or two and see if any new deposits are present afterwards.

Mine defitnitely burns oil a little faster than when I originally got it, but I've been told the turbos both seem healthy enough. Tricky one.
