help heaters arnt working

i was wondering if any 1 could help me 1 day my heaters just stopped working have no idea why nor does my air con work any more either just stoped out the blue checked the fuses and connections at the back but now am stuck so has any 1 got any ideas what could be wrong

Maybe tell us what car etc? My crystal ball is out on loan.............

Anyway, it may be the heater valve, that mixes the hot and cold water to control temperature. Eventually they die and get stuck on cold or hot.

If it is that then its about £35-£40 for the part and if you're handy with a spanner you can fit them yourself.
