AJP8 Rotating assembly weight?
Discussion
As I am buying these parts for my LS engine right now I amt curious to know what the different weights of the AJP8s rotating assembly parts are and see how they compare, they are going to be lighter but I wonder how much?
So from the specs on the internet the bore and stroke of the 4.5 is 91mm x 86mm and the bore and stroke of the 4.2 is 88mm x 86mm.
It would be nice to get a cylinder deck height with piston compression heights so that I could make a guess, but in any case -> Anyone have any idea what the pistons and rods weigh on the AJP?
In reference my engine is going to be slightly smaller bore than Brummies but with the same stroke, 103mm x 101mm.
Regards
Rob

Well finally got my own pistons for my soon to be LS, so just hoping to get a few more
They are not quite as low a weight as I was hoping for at 427.2grams (+/- 0.5 gr) but on all accounts not bad for a 10.32cm bore.
The pins are 98 grams each...
I will be getting my crankshaft now...

So still curious to know what the other Cerberas AJP8 parts weigh in at, TT Tims has given one of the piston weights any body have any other ones?
