At last my car is ready..

For the last month it has been sitting at the TVR centre so loads of nice warm days for driving has been wasted, so that the following done can be done:
ALTERNATOR (Apparently had stopped working!)
VALVE TRAIN NOISE (Collapsing lifter)
KENT CAM UPGRADE (Wel I was having loads of work done anyway)
LIFTERS
VALLEY GASKETS
VALLEY GASKET SEALS
FRONT COVER GASKET
MANIFOLD GASKETS
Decatted Manifolds –from ACT (Were beginning to leak all over the place and which is what has taken so long to obtain)
NUT/BOLT FITTING KIT

So loads of stuff has been done and apparently should be pulling a lot better through the mid range.

Picking it up tomorrow, so will have to let you know if all this time and money has been worth it.

So just in time for me to put a few miles on it so it is working perfectly (I hope) for Roar 08 – Really can’t wait for it now!!

Right, just picked it up. Sounds fantastic and drives well.

Forgot to mention new chip as well..!

Right, now off to go and fill up. Should have filled up a month ago when petrol was a mere £1.15, but ah well, live and learn.

The sun is out, the roof is off. See you on the roads..

Editted to add: Total cost..£1820 yikes

Same boat here (well, February in my case). And it is long - it's more than a quarter of a year!

That's not too bad...I paid £2k for £6k service, new MC1 cam fitted, new exhaust gaskets fitted, recored rad, chassis ground back and treated, new thermostat and one or two other minor bits & bobs.
