Sorry to be a pain, again. But how do I remove a speaker from my S1? I think it's a standard installed kit, Alpine make. Seems to have a black cover surrounding it, does it just pull off?

Evenin, there is a velcro strip at the front edge of the spaker panel and some small black screws around the edge. remove screws then slide the panel out prizing off the velcro with a screw driver or somthing flat.

The drivers side on is a doddle to get out, passengers side might be doable without taking the seat out with a stubby screw driver. Just pull off the mesh covers that tuck inside the black ring(piece...tee hee sorry childish saturday morning humour!) Then there are about 3 screws to remove the speaker.

I changed mine recently - they sounded rubbish and not to mention a bird had quite cleverly shat on one of them from a great height!

I took both seats out to gain full access & it only takes a couple of hours from start to finish.
