Griff 500 engine drive belt too short

Just tried to fit a 7pk 1800 drive belt (serp non pas or a/c) to the griff however even with the tensioner pulled to its maximum travel the belt is still a mile too short, the original has no markings on to refer to. From searching the forums a 1800 size should fit , is this correct or should I go for a 1830 or 1850?

1850 or the 1855 will fit fine too
