What not many Cerbera's for sale
Discussion
I'm looking to get another cerb again either this year or next and have noticed that there are not many for sale. There aren't even many dealers either. I know that TVR are no more as a manufacture but it seems that there are fewer and fewer out there.
There seems to be more 96 to 98 plates but no 2000 onwards. Why is this?
Ive been out of the loop for a few years and am struggling to find any good ones.

Oh well, think i'll buck that trend this week as i'm putting my 2001 4.5LW up for sale as i'm struggling to find the time to drive it. I manage to squeeze an hours hooning in at weekends, but not enough that i can justify keeping it. Will be a tough decision though, as it's in top condition and the engine is a pearl.

There were less Cerberas made post-2000.
Fewer for sale, generally, may also be a factor of Cerberas settling into being 'keepers'. I've not heard anybody talk of selling their Cerbera for a long time now.
As has been said many times before, there is not a single possible replacement available... short of bolting on a numberplate to a Le Mans prototype you simply wont get the soundtrack (we're even losing them to diesels too!), only the latest hypercars (LP640 etc) are slightly quicker, no car I've come across can be so happy to leave elevens everywhere if you so wish or be so bloody capable when driven properly, nothing has that interior etc etc...Fewer for sale, generally, may also be a factor of Cerberas settling into being 'keepers'. I've not heard anybody talk of selling their Cerbera for a long time now.

The people who ask about it haven't a clue what it is or where it came from. I'm in Switzerland at the moment and the cerb nearly caused a shunt from other drivers gawping
1,600 miles on my trip so far and the car's been faultless. I'm keeping mine (sorry!)I know mines not a real Cerbera as it were, but i cant think of anything else to replace it with, i do lust after the big 996/997 turbos, but the huge price tag that comes with them, means i'd rather upgrade my house and slum it mine!
Plus the fact nothing falls off could be quite boring, and if something did go wrong with it ££££££'s.
